We worked with Envision, who went on to design and run a social enterprise competition among secondary schools and scout/brownie groups in Bristol.
With the knowledge and skills we passed on, a group of students from St Mary Redcliffe & Temple School (SMRT) are putting together a campaign centring on building mental health resilience – exclusively with primary school children.
The government is looking to address this young demographic with the upcoming project Future in Mind. Building resilience is extremely relevant, and so we were delighted to work collaboratively to help deliver this workshop.
Using OTR’s age-appropriate guidance, the students’ sessions cover the basics of wellbeing and identifying feelings and emotions through playing interactive games. The sessions also cover aspects of self-esteem, and the importance of maintaining friendships.
It’s always great to work with Envision and we look forward to hearing more about these fantastic mental health workshops!
Great work, all!
