OTR Statement to recent events in Bristol

We are deeply saddened by the events taking place in Bristol and across the UK. At OTR we are here to support children and young people and we condemn violence, unlawful behavior and any form of discrimination.

We are an anti-racist, anti-discrimination charity for everyone. If you have been affected by recent events, we are here to support you. If you are in touch with our teams, please reach out to us and see what support is on offer.

Wednesday afternoon services at Old Market may be impacted, please call ahead before travelling.

You can also contact us on  –hello@otrbristol.org.uk, 0808 808 9120 (Freephone) Mon-Fri 2-5pm

For further support and information:

• Contact our partner organization Sari who help with hate crimes: https://linktr.ee/saricharity

•  or report an incident for yourself or support a young person to do so https://www.report-it.org.uk/your_police_force or by calling 101

** Please note Due to further planned marches in central Bristol on Wednesday 07.08.24, OTR has taken the difficult decision to close our Old Market premises from 1PM. This is to safeguard the welfare of young people and our staff. If you are booked in for a session, the team will have contacted you, but if you are unsure please call ahead on 0808 808 9120 to discuss alternative arrangements. Normal services will resume from Thursday 08.08.24.

If you are taking part in any meetings or events in the city, please look after yourself and stay safe.
