MoreWhy not let OTR come to you? Our wonderful team love being out and about, and are always keen to visit local schools, youth groups and other places where young people are, to start a conversation about all things mental health.
Here are some examples of what having us in could look like:
Assemblies
Assemblies are a great way to introduce topics surrounding mental health and wellbeing, as well as giving young people all the info they need about OTR, what’s on offer and how to sign up. We even have a virtual assembly which you can watch here.
Pop-ups
Our pop-up stalls are sure to brighten up any school canteen, corridor or youth club! Young people will have the chance to chat with our friendly staff, learn about what support is available to them, and ask any questions they might have. There’ll be fun interactive activities to get people thinking about their own mental health, and plenty of resources and other goodies to take away!
Wellbeing boards
Have a spare noticeboard that you want filled up with mental health information? We can come in and create a display with information about our projects and other local mental health services. We can also send out a pack to you if you’d rather do it yourself!
If you’re a young person living in Bristol or South Gloucestershire, or if you’re a professional working with young people in the area, you can register your interest by signing up at the top of the page to have us come in and visit your school, youth group or other organisation. Just give us some basic details and we will try our best to be in touch!
Please note we receive lots of requests for these types of activities, it always helps to give us as much notice as possible.
